What is me2everyone?
It's a cool new virtual world where you can meet friends, chat, shop, play, watch videos, create an art gallery, open a virtual newspaper, play the free inworld lottery and make money from your own online store! So why give shares away?
Well, the company is targeting 220m members by 2012 and the directors want every member to be able to make money from the concept. A lot of people are asking "How is it possible to make money if m2e is free?" Next week (fingers crossed) the pre-launch version of me2everyone.com opens. Now, this version is not the cool new virtual world where you can meet friends. This is the version where you can read what's happening while the programmers build the main event! It's also a place where you can recommend a few friends and watch your share levels soar, thanks to a few special offers designed to get things off to a fantastic start.
We are also going to put a 10,000,000 share reward on the table for the person who recruits the most number of (real) people during pre-launch. That's a GBP £10,000 prize! We have a freelance business package linked to the main launch of me2everyone: the "Customer Care Manager". We also have a membership upgrade called the "Global Exec" limited to just 300 people. Who runs me2everyone?
"In-world" the members will elect their own leaders through elections that are scheduled to take place every 4 to 6 months. The in-world leaders will have certain powers, but they will mainly act as a conduit between the members and a special membership body called the Global Exec. During 2009 the rising stars within the Global Exec will be chosen to serve on regional director boards: purely to assist in corporate governance, which is handled by our directors:
Maureen Foers OBE has been a company owner since 1971. She is a fellow of several organisations including the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development.
Maureen has also represented the CBI (Confederation of British Industry) at SME level at various international and national events: something that earned her the OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for 2001. Maureen brings a mix of good business sense and experience to help shape the company ahead of a possible stock market listing in 2011/12.
Also a director, Andy Fisher was being born when Maureen opened her first company. In a “previous life” Andy spent 16 years working with HM Customs & Excise, working on the frontline in the detection and investigation of prohibited items (drugs, firearms) and in anti-piracy measures. Andy then entered the world of education, managing a school of more than 1200 children. He was responsible for strategic planning across the whole school: from aspects of teaching to building management and working with the local community including the police.

Protecting you with Technology
The pre-launch website is very simple and only requires a few basic details to get into the members area. Once there, you will be able to read all the latest updates, check how many shares you have and recommend a few friends and family. Meanwhile our web developers are busy designing the real me2everyone.com website and security plays a huge factor in their planning. When the main site opens, we are employing an two-factor authentication process. First a new member enters all the required information, including a telephone number. The server then phones or sends an SMS message and provides a unique 6-digit code. At the same time, the phone is traced and a record saved. Far into the future, that member could be using me2everyone to spread racism or abuse. They could be using me2everyone as a conduit for crime. The authentication process will pin-point where people are, making it easier for law enforcement to act.
We will also be checking for fraud: those members who decided to name cats, dogs or fictitious relatives as members, all in the quest to generate more free shares. We will find them out and close their accounts. We also know that me2everyone will be a target for hackers, thieves and other such "pleasures" of the web. So firstly we are "partnering" with the most robust data centre we could find who will manage our servers 24/7 with a 100% uptime guarantee. Our partner is the data management solution for the British Army, Renault, Vodaphone and LloydsTSB Bank - one of the largest banks in the world. We also intend to employ a team to hack the website every day, running vulnerability software, finding weak points and fixing them. Naturally we will have firewalls, SSL encryption, Turing numbers and virus scans. We will also use compression technology, increasing bandwidth usage and creating fast-loading web-pages.
In-world there will be a freelance team of Enforcers, quietly checking images, videos and key-word searches. Not prying into private lives, but looking for anyone who is using me2everyone for nefarious means. Add into this the concept of a neighbourhood watch: a reward driven, anonymous service that allows members to inform us of suspicious in-world activity. It's all designed to keep away bad people and to protect you and your enjoyment of me2everyone.com.
24 Key Languages...
We are saving the Global Exec report for tomorrow (Tuesday)... There's a lot of last minute work to get through and today has been exceptionally busy. The sheer volume of emails asking about everythign from the Ripple to Global Exec and even to those wonderful people who just want to share their excitement about me2everyone, has been breathtaking. There's not long to wait now: less than 24 hours and you will be able to register online using the special link we give you. You will be able to recruit your friends and family and read about what's happening in the pre-launch period.
We've got about 60 days before the real site opens, but everyone will be exceptionally busy before then. We will be putting into place the Customer Care Team: eventually a body of 6000 people in virtually every country on the planet, who will provide local telephone support and marketing services for Business Members.
